The player can pick one of the factions to be the leader of including the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire, Romulan Star Empire, or Cardassian Union. Factions have their own iconic characters including Picard, Janeway, Sisko, and Data to name a few for the Federation; and Gowron, Makbar, Garak, and many more in other factions.
